Comfort Bags

For children going through hardship, placed in foster care, or in child protective services — our Comfort Bags offer a warm blanket, stuffed pillow, hygiene items, and a change of clothes.

Back to School Shoes, Supplies & Coats

Every child deserves to start the school year ready to learn. We provide shoes, school supplies, and coats to children in need across our community — because confidence starts with being prepared.

Paint Night

Unity4Kids hosts Paint Night events bringing families and community members together for a fun, creative evening. Our Paint Night was held in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, featuring guest speakers from community partner organizations who shared resources and encouragement. These events build community connections while raising funds and awareness for our mission.

Turkey Distribution

Unity4Kids partners with the Community Foundation of Rockbridge, Bath and Alleghany to distribute turkeys to families of children in Buena Vista City Schools. This program ensures that families in our community can gather around a full table and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday together.

Suicide Prevention Month

Every September, Unity4Kids recognizes Suicide Prevention Month by raising awareness, sharing resources, and supporting those affected by mental health challenges in our community. Unity Reads

Unity Reads provides books, reading support, and encouragement to children who may not have access to age-appropriate reading materials at home. By meeting kids where they are — in the same spirit of unconditional love that drives every Unity4Kids program — Unity Reads nurtures a love of learning and equips young readers with skills that will carry them far beyond childhood. Because every child deserves not just to survive, but to dream.
